Today Spike Chunsoft released a new TV Commercial of its upcoming 3DS game Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates.
This game should not be confused with Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan 2 game, which will be for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch (and PS Vita only in Japan). I know it’s weird to have two games with almost the same title, based exactly on the same anime season, but such are the mysteries of Japanese licensing.
We get to see that the title will include online and local co-op, and a base-building (actually wall-building, to be more appropriate) feature.
While it’s predecessor Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains was localized for the west by Atlus, for the moment we have no word about this one, that will launch in Japan on November 30th.
You can check out the trailer below, and if you want to see more, you can also watch the first video.
Funnily, if you watch the video to the very last moment, you’ll see what appears to be the tease of a “titan” that will prove rather familiar to the fans of another popular Spike Chunsoft series. We don’t know to what extent Monokuma from Danganronpa will appear in the game, but it seems he’ll have some sort of cameo, at least.
