I don't think I've ever freaked out more while writing a story in my life. Fans of the eagerly anticipated Avengers Project won't have to wait much longer to find out what's going on with the title. Just a few moments ago, Marvel confirmed that they will be holding the worldwide reveal (or re-reveal depending on your definition) of the Avengers Project at Square Enix Live E3 2019, which will be the first time that we've seen the title in any capacity in over 2 years. For those that don't know, The Avengers Project was originally announced back in January of 2017 and since then we've heard...nothing. We don't know the plot synopsis, we don't know which characters it'll feature (although the original trailer does feature Iron Man's repulsors, Thor's hammer Mjolnir, and Captain America's shield among other items); we just don't know anything about it, so for this reveal to be happening, is very exciting. This will be the third AAA game that Marvel has put out in recent memory, with the first one being Marvel's Spider-Man, which was exclusive to PlayStation 4, and the second being Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, which is exclusive to Nintendo Switch. While I wouldn't be shocked if Marvel does more exclusive games in the future, I would be utterly surprised if Avengers Project is exclusive to one platform. As of the time of this writing, the game doesn't have a release date, although I'd expect we'll get a release window when the game is revealed in just a couple weeks.
