The Avengers Project Creative Director Gives Short Update to Fans

Shaun Escayg, the creative director for The Avengers Project, made a short update about the status of the game on his official Twitter account.

December 14, 2018

Before 2018’s Game Awards aired online, many fans speculated that we would finally be getting an update for Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ highly anticipated Avengers Project during the showcase, something of which did not happen. That being said, the developer isn’t staying completely quiet about the project though, as Shaun Escayg, the creative director of the game, has posted a short update on Twitter regarding its status.

According to Escayg, the “very ambitious game” is still very much in development over at the studio and that they’ll show more from it “when the time is right.” Of course, you can read the full, original tweet at the end of the article.

As of December 14, 2018, we don’t know much about the title, and frankly, that’s an understatement. We know that it’s the first entry in a multi-year deal between Square Enix and Marvel and that it’ll feature the Avengers. Aside from that, we have no idea what the game has in store for players.

The Avengers Project is currently in development for…well, we actually don’t know what platforms it’ll be released on or even what year they are aiming for. Here’s hoping that we hear something soon because, personally, I can’t wait.
