It's that time of the year again. The time when families gather around a warm fire to debate whether or not Die Hard is actually a Christmas movie. However, there's one thing that never been questioned, and that's Home Alone's place as one of the most popular festive films of all times.

Since making his big break in the classic early 90s festive favorites, Macaulay Culkin has kept quite a low profile. However, Cinemassacre Productions has still managed to secure the actor as a special guest for this year's holiday episode of the popular Angry Video Game Nerd web series.

Angry Video Game Nerd is a long-running series that focuses on one man's obsession with playing terrible retro games. This episode opens up with the Nerd, played by James Rolfe, fixing on his Santa hat and stating that he has run out of bad holiday-themed games to play as all the ones worth mentioning had already been covered in previous years. Just then, his doorbell rings and Macaulay Culkin appears disguised as a lowly pizza boy carrying a box full of Home Alone titles.

Hilarity ensues as the pair desperately rummages through the collection of games while 38-year-old Macaulay Culkin gets increasingly depressed about the fact that there haven't been any good titles based on him. There are a wealth of jokes throughout the episode as Culkin indulges in the show's signature brand of toilet humor and even lets loose with a classic "Nerd rant" at one stage. There are also moments dotted throughout where the duo break character entirely and unintentionally begin giggling. It genuinely seems like a lot of fun was had on-set during the making of the show.
