For the past several years, Games Done Quick has brought the gaming community together for a good cause with its run of speedrunning marathon events. While this year's events have been a little different due to the pandemic, the organization is once again preparing for its next online event in January, which will see the return of Awesome Games Done Quick.Games Done Quick has revealed the full schedule for Awesome Games Done Quick 2021, which as previously announced will be taking place online this year instead of being held in-person. The event will run for one week from January 3-10, 2021, and will air on Games Done Quick's official Twitch channel to benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation.You can check out the full schedule for the event on Games Done Quick's official website right here.

From a quick glance at this year's schedule, AGDQ 2021 will feature a range of classic games mixed in with several newer titles for speedrunners to complete. Some of the highlights in the upcoming event include a challenge to speedrun Celeste using dance pads, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Golden Sun, a blindfolded run through Super Mario 64, and an All Weapons run in Hades.

If you haven't watch a past GDQ event before, the event features speedrunners from around the world completing all sorts of incredible speedrun challenges for viewers, with donations being collected towards charitable causes. Most of GDQ's events throughout 2020 have moved to an online format in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, though that hasn't stopped the organization from working towards a good cause. To date, the organization has raised over $25 million that has been contributed to several charitable causes.

Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 will take place from January 3-10, 2021.
