Waifus, naval battles, and a rocking electronic soundtrack… what more could you need? If the answer to that question for you is nothing, you’ll be happy to hear that Compile Hearts and Felistella are bringing their shoot’em up RPG Azur Lane: Crosswave to PS4. Crosswave is a follow-up title to the original Azur Lane that released on iOS and Android back in 2017.

The game was announced alongside a new trailer, that you can see down below. In it, we get a quick peek at some of the game’s characters in all their warship-looking glory. It looks like Compile Hearts and Felistella are trying to mimic what fans of the series expect in terms of gameplay as we see cute characters sliding across the water while gunning down enemies. This is the first time the series is going 3D so that’ll be a treat for those who may be familiar with it already. A good chunk of the mobile game’s characters will also be returning in Crosswave.

As of right now, there’s no news of Azur Lane: Crosswave being localized. The original title, Azur Lane, is currently available on the Android and iOS store if you’d like to familiarize yourself with the series and its characters. Hopefully, with the mobile title being localized, we’ll see this game get the same treatment at some point in the future.
