Back 4 Blood, the co-op zombie FPS game and spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead, has plenty of Easter Eggs hidden in its maps - more and more secrets and references are being revealed by players.

Back 4 Blood beta players are on the move, all trying to find every secret in-game. The official Twitter account of the game, on August 14, shared a call to the players, challenging them to find and report as many Easter Eggs as possible. Several players were already on this case before even being roused into action. Seeing that just like with every update or launch of a popular FPS nowadays, Easter Eggs are everywhere.

Several developers of Left 4 Dead at Turtle Rock Studios are working on the game, and it shows, seeing they're both pretty similar on paper. One of the main differences is the terminology used, with Back 4 Blood introducing several words such as Cleaners to designate the survivors. And Ridden to designate the zombies.

The Open Beta started on August 12 and is ongoing until the 16th at 12 PM PST. The full game is launching on October 12, 2021 on Epic Games Store, Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Keep in mind you'll need to be connected at all times to play the game on any platform. There is no offline mode, even when playing the campaign with bots. Besides that, Back 4 Blood is shaping up to be a pretty good successor to Left 4 Dead. Be sure to try it out!
