BAFL – Brakes Are For Losers Receives Free Demo on Steam Prior to Release Next Week
BAFL - Brakes Are For Losers has received a free demo on PC via Steam, and the developers are even running a contest through it that will net players 10 free codes for the game.
Oudidon and The Sidekicks announced today that they have released a free demo for their old-school racer BAFL – Brakes are For Losers on Steam today. The developers are also running a contest for a free code through the demo in order to get even more people playing and hyped before it the title releases on October 18.
This demo includes four tracks. One is used for the Time Attack and Perfect Race modes, while the other three are part of a three-track championship for players to partake in. The aforementioned championship can also be played by up to four players. As for the Pre-Release Week-End Contest, players are encourage to try out the Time Attack mode and get the best times that they possibly can in it. The ten best drivers on the leaderboards within the demo will get a free code for BAFL – Brakes Are For Losers.
For those of you who don’t know, BAFL is a top-down racing game that aims to pay tribute to retro racing games like Super Sprint and Indy Heat, while also spicing things up by taking away the player’s ability to use brakes. The game’s final release will include ten unique tracks, eight-person multiplayer, Time Attack and Perfect Race modes, custom races, and ghost races.
