If you were looking forward to diving into Baldur's Gate 3 the moment that the game became available via early access, well, it turns out you'll have to wait just a little bit longer.Originally slated to drop on September 30, Larian Studios announced today that Baldur's Gate 3 won't be arriving now until October 6. The reason for the delay is because Larian wants to eliminate as many crashes and bugs before releasing in this early access form. While the studio still expects there to be issues once the game is live in early access, there are still "some stability issues" that the developer says it's working on rectifying. The full statement from Larian can be found here:

To make up for the somewhat disappointing news, Larian will be sharing more information on BG3 later today. News on the game's romance and companionship options are said to be divulged later as a way to "pick you all up again." Considering how many people love romancing characters in these type of games, this is some new info that I assume those who are looking forward to Baldur's Gate 3 will appreciate.

Baldur's Gate 3 will release on Stadia, Steam, and GOG when it drops in early access at the beginning of next month. And if you think that the game is going to get delayed again, Larian is doubling down on this new launch date.
