Baldur’s Gate 3 Sizzle Trailer Promises Much More News in June
The Baldur's Gate 3 June news blitz kicks off next at the June 6 Guerrilla Collective Showcase.
We’re in the season of announcements for announcements and Larian Studios‘ Baldur’s Gate 3 is no different. After teasing yesterday that they’d drop a sizzle trailer, the studio has delivered and is promising a ton more news next month. Starting at the June 6 Guerrilla Collective Showcase, the team will begin dropping hot-off-the-press news as we move toward release. Give the sizzle reel a watch below.

The Baldur’s Gate 3 trailer doesn’t give any firm info outside of the tease for next week. However, we do get to see some great shots of the game in action, along with some great-looking screenshots. I especially appreciated that shot where a player hits a statue with an arrow and then it drops on her enemies. That type of environmental interaction is so much fun to play with, allowing you to create some inventive murder traps.
And, as expected, the game continues to look beautiful. At the PAX East gameplay reveal, we noted how good the lighting and visuals are. That hasn’t changed with this latest sizzle reel. We’ve come a long way graphically from 2000, that’s for sure.
Hopefully, this upcoming slate of news finally provides a release date. That said, I would probably be happy just to some more in-game action. As a kid, I was always a bigger fan of the Dark Alliance spin-off, but as time has gone by, I’ve certainly come to appreciate the RPG goodness that is the first two Baldur’s Gate games. Larian has big shoes to fill, but if anyone can do it, it’s them.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is set to launch on Google Stadia and PC. Be sure to check back next week for all the news coming out of the Guerrilla Collective Showcase and all the other events kicking off in June.
