Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition Cleared for November the 15th Release, Screenshots Unveiled

The release of Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition was put on hold due to legal troubles, but apparently the problems are no more as the game has been cleared for a November the 15th release.

The enhanced version of the glorious Advanced Dungeons & Dragons-based RPG will be initially released on PC and Mac, with iPad and Android versions to follow at a later and yet unspecified time. Preorders are already available for the launch platforms for $24.95.

The game will come with four new party members. Three will return from the Enhanced Edition of the first Baldur’s Gate: Neera,¬†Dorn Il-Khan and Rasaad. A fourth and mysterious thief will be newly introduced for the second chapter of the saga.

Also included we’ll find The Black Pits 2 arena-based storyline, graphical enhancements like wide-screen resolutions and a reworked UI, and retooled multiplayer. Of course the original expansion¬†Baldur’s Gate II: Throne of Bhaal will be part of the package as well.
