Bandai Namco Files Trademark for Pac-Man Maker in Europe

on April 18, 2017 2:38 PM

Today, Bandai Namco filed a trademark for Pac-Man Maker in Europe, aka with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

What the trademark means is anyone’s best guess. Perhaps the publisher/developer is working on a Mario Maker-like game where you can create and play your own Pac-Man levels. Or perhaps the company is simply trademarking the title for future or potential use. Whatever the case might be, the filing has me excited just thinking about the possibilities and the hours I would lose to such a game.

You can check out the filing for yourself, here.
