Bandai Namco has revealed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be getting a new DLC pack and a free update, both of which will go live sometime this February.

The upcoming "big free update" will add several new costumes, accessories, attacks and a Tenkaichi Tournament jersey. The update will also add new rules to the World Tournament and more importantly the update will be increasing the level cap, which is currently set at level 80, and that doesn't take too long to hit so this is actually a much needed change.

The upcoming add on pack dubbed, “DB Super Pack 2”, will add two new characters, Champa and Vados, to the playable character list as well as a new stage, 8 attacks, 3 costumes, the Space Pod vehicle, super souls, emotes and a new quest. The new quest will alter history and see Champa, the God of Destruction, and Vados head to Conton City.

“DB Super Pack 2” will be a part of the season pass but it will also be available for individual purchase sometime in February, although no pricing information was detailed. This is the second of four add on packs that is included in the season pass. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and PC with a Switch version also in development.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's first paid DLC pack and free update went live on the 20th of December. The first DLC pack added Cabbe and Frost to the character roster among other stages, attacks and missions. If you want to see everything that was added you can watch the promo trailer right here.
