Bandai Namco just announced its financial results for third quarter of fiscal year 2016 ended on December 31st, 2015. Income numbers are all in the black, even if slightly lower year-on-year.

The company also revised its forecast for the full year downwards due to struggling sales in the arcade segment. Video game software sales were defined “strong.”

The network entertainment segment, which includes games, remains the biggest contributor for the company’s sales, and home video games and network content are pretty much head to head within the segment.

Last but not least, we learn that the company shipped 20,680,000 units of its games in the first nine months of the fiscal year, and predicts to reach just south of 26 million before the end of March. The biggest market remains Europe, that leads over the United States and Japan.
