Batman: Arkham Knight will be the continuation of a story that has riveted gamers since 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum. An even bigger hallmark, however, is the fact that it will be the first in the series to grace the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Because of this, the developers have taken liberties with enhancing nearly all aspects of the game, from the size of Gotham City to every character's animations.

In a recent interview, Rocksteady's Lead Animator Zafer Coban divulged some interesting tidbits regarding changes and additions being made to Batman and every other character's animations. Batman will perform a small stance after knocking the down the last enemy, instead of typically standing up right away like he did in the previous games. Additionally, gamers should expect to see more polish and variable animations in every villain and NPC in the game.

Batman: Arkham Knight is being developed by Rocksteady and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
