We know that a new Batman title from WB Games Montreal is on the way, but other than that, no further details of the project have yet to be properly revealed. That said, thanks to a new leak from a known industry insider, it seems as though a few key details of the game may have now come about.

According to Sabi, a video game insider who has previously revealed details of other games in the past that turned out to be correct, the new installment in the Arkham franchise is set to be called Batman: Arkham Legacy. Sabi goes on to say that past rumors about playing as members of the Batman "family" which would likely include characters like Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and others, also "seems to legit."

Obviously, none of this is confirmed just yet, so don't get your hopes up too much. Still, what's being implied here doesn't seem too far-fetched. Past Arkham games have mostly only seen us playing as Batman himself, so it'd make sense if this new entry opening things up a bit more and allows us to play through the game's story as various characters. If other previous rumors claiming that the Court of Owls will also be involved in this game end up being true, then this sounds like one interesting Batman title.

Warner Bros. Interactive has yet to say anything specific about when this new Batman game will be revealed, but you'd have to imagine we'll hear something before the end of 2019. At the rate in which new rumors and leaks keep coming about, it seems as though we'll have more specific information to go off of soon.

Personally, I'm keeping my eye on The Game Awards 2019 as the place in which this new game will be revealed, but only time will tell if that ends up being true.
