Batman: Arkham Origins Could Come with Multiplayer

According to Kotaku, or rather, an unnamed source, Batman: Arkham Origins will join the ever-growing gallery of single-player games that have added a supplementary multiplayer portion. The rumors are still unconfirmed for the time being, however.

The little information that was ascertained points to only one known game mode, in which the player takes control of a member of Bane or Joker’s gang, in an effort to defeat Batman and Robin. Additional villains that may be involve in multiplayer include Killer Croc, Deadshot, Firefly, Black Mask (the game’s primary antagonist), Deathstroke (confirmed for the single-player story), and possibly Electrocutioner.

Will they will be able to top Gotham City Impostors? That game was made of win.

Batman: Arkham Origins is being developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. A PS Vita handheld version, Batman: Arkham Origins – Blackgate is being developed by Armature Studio.
