Batman: Arkham Origins Development Team Will Focus on Completing the DLC, Not Fixing Bugs
Things just keep getting worse for fans of Batman: Arkham Origins. First they had to deal with bugs and then came the cancellation of the DLC for Wii U, now it looks like the bugs are back with vengeance.
To add insult to injury, despite the development team being fully aware of the bugs (especially since the Batman: Arkham Origins support page is swamped with angry players), community manager “Mercury” informed everyone the development team is focused on completing story for the DLC instead of fixing the game’s multitude of problems.
The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums.
The post went on state that if they did decide to release another patch, it will be an attempt to solve just the progression issues.
If we do move forward with creating a new patch, it will try to address the progression blocking bugs for players, not the minor glitches that do not prevent one from continuing to play,” the post reads. “The issues that are not progression blockers will unfortunately no longer be addressed. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for some of you, and want to thank you for having been patient.
