Last night, WB Games Montreal, the studio behind Batman: Arkham Origins, began seemingly teasing that it was working on an upcoming new Batman title. Now, the studio has once again teased as much again, making it seem as though a potential reveal could be coming soon.Over on the official WB Games Montreal Twitter account today, the studio shared a new brief video that features various interchanging symbols. These same symbols were previously seen in the last teaser video that WB Games Montreal put out, as well. Along with the video, the caption of the tweet simply stated, "Capture the Knight." There seems to be no question whatsoever that WB Games Montreal is indeed making a new Batman title now, but what makes these teases a bit more interesting is when they are occurring. Tomorrow, Sony is set to have a new PlayStation State of Play live stream. We already know that The Last of Us Part II will make an appearance during the show, but could WB Games Montreal have a reveal of their own to share? The rate at which these teases have been occurring definitely makes it seem like it could happen.
Regardless of when Warner Bros. Interactive opts to unveil this new Batman game though, there no longer seems to be a doubt that one is coming. Hopefully, it will involve the famed Court of Owls storyline, as has previously been rumored.
