Batman Getting Another Arkham Adventure

During an investor’s call today, Warner Bros. Interactive announced that this year will include the release of the next game in the Batman Arkham  franchise.

The company CFO, John K Martin, said:

And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise. So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013. And with a little luck, the year should be as good or maybe even a little bit better than 2012.

The game is most likely not being handled by Rocksteady as they have hinted the next game they are working on will not be focused on Batman. There were also rumors before that the next game would focus on a Silver Age Batman and not feature a dark style that has been seen so far.

Batman fans have something to look forward to this year as more Arkham is always a good thing. As E3 approaches, more information on the game is likely to be revealed.
