Batman: The Enemy Within - The Telltale Series Gets Launch Trailer Ahead of Season Premiere

Telltale Games' second season Batman: The Enemy Within is under a week away, with a new trailer giving a look at the upcoming season premiere.

August 3, 2017

Telltale Games took on the dark and complex world of Batman last year with the debut of Batman: The Telltale Series, and starting next week those that can’t get enough of the studio’s new take on Gotham can jump back in with the series’ second season, Batman: The Enemy Within.

Developer Telltale Games has released the official launch trailer for Batman: The Enemy Within, with the trailer giving a look at the upcoming first episode, titled “The Enigma.” With this season set to include the appearances of iconic Batman villains such as The Riddler and The Joker, a description for the episode below should give an idea of what to expect from the episode (and season) ahead:

In this latest chapter, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?

Batman: The Enemy Within – The Telltale Series will release for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac on August 8th, 2017 with the series’ first episode, while the series will come to iOS and Android in early October. In the meantime, you can check out the launch trailer for the first episode below:
