Battle Chasers: Nightwar Shows Opening Anime Inspired Movie and It Looks Awesome

THQ Nordic launched the opening video for Airship Syndicate’s RPG, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 3.

The opening movie puts the spotlight on each of the characters that the player will meet throughout the game’s story. For those who are familiar with comic book series of the same name, seeing these characters come to life might induce a bit of nostalgia. However, each of the worlds are different and are based in separate universes so it’s not necessary to know the source material before playing.

Additionally, the video shows off, Alumon the Devil Hunter, once a member of a sacred order of monster hunters, who has been banished and now lives as a bounty hunter. Having the ability to use magic and light-based abilities of the Battle Priest Class, he has studied the ability to use dark arts, which has changed his physical appearance.

If you’d like to know more, DualShockers wrote a preview of an early build for the game as well as recently spoke with Creative Director and CEO of Airship Syndicate Joe Madureira to talk about development and the future of the franchise.
