Every now and then, we get release announcements in the most unusual ways thanks to certain information about a title leaking before it's supposed to. It seems that this has once again happened this time with Trinket Studios' Battle Chef Brigade.

Recently over on Exophase, the PS4 trophies for Battle Chef Brigade appeared online. This is a typical occurrence that happens to pretty much every game in the week or two before launch. In the case of Battle Chef Brigade, though, the game currently hasn't been announced to even release on PS4.

We've seen this situation transpire before, so it's not as unusual as you might think. Just last month, Bethesda Softworks' Fallout Shelter had its trophies appear online a few days before the publisher announced that it'd be formally releasing for PS4. Either way, when trophies for a game appear online, you can guarantee that the release of that game on PS4 is a surefire thing.

As for when Battle Chef Brigade will be making its way to PS4, we'll have to wait and see. Past instances, like the Fallout Shelter example, would indicate that the release is likely very soon. To know for sure though, we'll have to wait to hear from Adult Swim Games.

Until that time, you can pick up Battle Chef Brigade on Switch and PC if you just can't wait for the PS4 version to play it.
