Battle Princess Madelyn Launching in America on Switch and PS4 This Week, Arriving to EU in 2019

American consoles will get Battle Princess Madelyn before Christmas, but EU/AUS consoles will need to wait until next year.

After what feels like a long battle taking place just to get Causal Bit Games’ title Battle Princess Madelyn to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch, PR Hound confirmed today that those in the NA region will be getting the game this week.

Battle Princess Madelyn was delayed for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in all regions a day before the game was due to launch, it still launched on Xbox One and PC though. Last week it was delayed once again while the developer waited on clearance from Nintendo. A press release today states that the Nintendo Switch version for North America has been sanctioned along with a new patch that will be ready for when the title launches this Thursday alongside the PS4 NA version.

Those who live in Europe or Australia will have to wait for the Nintendo Switch version which will launch on January 7. 2019. The PS4 version for EU/AUS versions is still awaiting a release date.

The game on PC and Xbox One has been getting frequent patches to fix any bugs and glitches. These patches being implemented will be applied to the Switch and PS4 versions which should allow players to jump onto the title without issues.

Battle Princess Madelyn is available for Xbox One and PC. It’ll be launching on Nintendo Switch and PS4 in America on December 20, 2018. The Nintendo Switch EU/AUS version will launch on January 7, 2019.
