With just a few weeks to prepare, Battleborn is almost ready for battle with its release next month on PC and consoles, and with the game’s beta launching this week and a brand new trailer, you can do all your preparations in advance.
As previously announced, Battleborn‘s open beta is now available to preload across all platforms, with download links and file sizes for PS4, Xbox One, and PC below:
Beta access for Battleborn will begin tomorrow, April 8th for PS4 owners, while Xbox One and PC players can jump in to the beta starting on April 13th: open beta access across all platforms will end on April 18th, 2016.
In addition to open beta access, PS4 players will also be given exclusive access to the game’s first expansion and access to the character “Alani” at launch, while PS4 owners will also be able to try out the lovable Toby during the beta period.
Across all platforms, the beta will provide access to two multiplayer modes and two sections of the game’s Story Mode, along with access to seven initial characters (with the full roster of 25 characters available to unlock during the beta period).
Along with the beta access period, developer Gearbox Software has also released a new trailer giving players a “Battleborn Bootcamp,” with a full-on 101 of how to play the game and what to expect from the Borderlands developers’ next project.
