Battlefield 1 Beta Will Include New Content, Insiders Can Now Choose Their Preferred Platform

With Gamescom creeping ever closer, news of Battlefield 1’s beta has finally started to emerge.

We already know that we’re getting at least one new trailer at Gamescom, and we know that there will also be a beta for the game “shortly” after the convention. It looks like EA is getting ready, too, as the publisher has updated the Battlefield Insider page over the weekend.

Now, you can select your preferred platform on the preferences page. As Battlefield Insiders are guaranteed early access to the Beta, selecting this option will determine which type of code you receive.

There has also some news about the content of the beta. Although we’ve yet to get any actual details as to the changes from alpha to beta, new content has been promised. This, of course, could be anything from new weapons, vehicles, maps, and maybe even a few new modes.

Battlefield 1 launches October 21 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
