Yesterday, a few new details about Battlefield 1's future multiplayer support were released. Today, we learned a little more and it comes in the form of a new map.

Nivelle Nights is the new map that was revealed via the game's official website. The new map will be released for free in June, but for now it seems to be exclusive to owners of the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass. According to the map's description, as offered by DICE, this map will takes place on the French front. In the dim light, teamwork will be crucial for victory.

"As darkness falls over the muddy battlefields around Malmaison and Soupir, French and German batteries prepare to yet again support their troops on the contested ground.

The moon, the searchlights, and the artillery lights up the night skies, exposing the vast network of trenches. Bite and hold as your foe will fight for every inch of ground. Strategy and teamwork will overcome those who have neither."

The Battlefield 1 Premium Pass is the season pass available for the first-person shooter. The Pass costs $49.99 and will provide players with early access to the planned expansions They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse, as well as access to a slew of new weapons and maps. Nivelle Nights is presumed to be one of the sixteen maps that have been advertized as being made available to Premium Pass owners.
