Battlefield 1: Watch Some World War I Airship Carnage and More in Incredible Multiplayer Footage (UPDATED)

on June 12, 2016 5:40 PM

With the new gameplay reveal of Battlefield 1, EA is currently livestreaming some pitched multiplayer matches, but that’s not all.

YouTube user jackfrags posted some really beautiful direct feed footage, that you can see below, while Battlefield‘s official Twitter account is posting more juicy bits including air and tanks battles and the mighty airship.

Speaking of the airship, it appears on the losing sight to give them a last-ditch attempt of turning the table. It’s fully player-controlled and can cause some really serious damage. But what is more exciting, when it gets destroyed it will actually crash dynamically on the map under it, it will destroy whatever happens to be there (including players, planes, tanks and everything else), and it will remain on the map as a giant wreck people will have to fight around.

You can see it happening in the fourth of the videos below. Honestly, this game looks incredible.

Update: the recording of the full multiplayer footage from the livestream can now be found below as well, courtesy of YouTube user RajmanGaming HD.
