Pre-loading for Battlefield 2042 has begun and it looks like one user got access a little too early as they were temporarily able to jump into the game and reveal all, including the lacklustre amount of weapons.

There's now less than a week to go until players can finally jump into Battlefield 2042 as early access is set to begin on November 12th for EA Play and Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

But, if you can't wait a little longer for all of the surprises, new leaks have emerged with plenty of details. Although the game looks to be in much better shape compared to the previous beta, fans are disappointed with the small number of weapons available to use.

Battlefield 2042 Leak Reveals All Weapons

On November 6th, Reddit user Aaron Frogger appeared to have accidentally gained access to Battlefield 2042 following the beginning of Xbox console pre-loading. The user promptly began posting as much as possible to /r/battlefield2042 before he was quickly kicked out of the game.

One of the user's first posts was of every gun available in Battlefield 2042, which appears to be a measly 22 weapons. The screenshot shows that there are only 4 Assault Rifles, 3 Sniper Rifles, and 2 LMGS to use.

The immediate response from fans was not positive, with one user on Reddit saying "Hopefully they add more. Seems a bit light.", followed by another user responding with "A bit? 2 LMGS and 4 Assault Rifles ooff".

Battlefield and Call of Duty insider Tom Henderson took to Twitter to announce the new leaks which were followed by even more fans showing their disappointment with the number of weapons at launch. One user responded with "Doesn't seem to be many assault rifles/snipers/lmgs for a modern game.", whilst another said that 2 LMGs is "ridiculous".
