Battlefield 2042 Season 1 is almost here, and DICE has indeed made some notable changes with the recent update to keep the community happy and a little bit optimistic about the future of the game!

The first season for Battlefield 2042 was revealed yesterday with a brand new trailer, delivering a new specialist, a new map, and a few new weapons and choppers to the game. To be honest, the amount of content Battlefield 2042 is getting after over 7 months isn't satisfying enough, but still, it's better than nothing.

Along with the new additions, DICE has also made some sneaky changes that you probably wouldn't notice until you play the game yourself. One of the interesting changes is totally removing the end-of-round voice lines from characters, which used to be a great meme source for showing the messy situation of the new Battlefield.

No More Distraction by Specialists During End-of-Round Recap in Battlefield 2042

Since its launch, Battlefield 2042 received so much hate for replacing the old system with a new Specialist-based mode, and there were many things to add up to this hate, such as the voice lines that you would hear during the end-of-round recap, most of which felt totally out of place.

Among all voice lines, probably Angel's line saying "Don't be sad! This is just how it works out sometimes" was the most memeable voice line, and it indeed received many memes from the community regarding the game's rough launch with many bugs and technical issues.

However, all those voice lines are gone for good now. So, you will no longer hear those hilarious statements from the Specialists when you are checking out the match recap.

It's yet to be seen whether DICE will replace them with new voice lines in the future, as we already know that the team is planning to change all voice lines later in Season 1. However, I do believe that the community is far happier to only hear the music during the end-of-round recap rather than any impressive line from the Specialists.

Battlefield 2042 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. Season 1 will officially be launched across all platforms on June 9.
