After waiting for seven months, Battlefield 2042 players will eventually get new content with Season 1 update this month. DICE and EA are yet to reveal the first season of Battlefield 2042 as well as its release date, but a new report from Tom Henderson hints at the possible release window of Season 1.

Tom Henderson Claims That Battlefield 2042 Season 1 Impressions Will Go Live on June 8

Tom Henderson recently shared a

" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">new post, claiming that Battlefield 2042 Season One impressions are under embargo until June 8. This probably means that the new season will be announced in the first week of June before the media and influencers share their impressions of the new content.

Moreover, Henderson believes that players will be able to get their hands on the new content in two weeks, which means the first half of June 2022.

Thanks to data miners, we already know that the new season will bring a new map as well as a new specialist. Also, DICE revealed recently that they are going to implement some essential changes to the existing maps during Season 1 and the next seasons.

While DICE will deliver new content to Battlefield 2042 with Season One, the studio is going to stop supporting Hazard Zone only seven months after launch, a mode that is believed to be a wrong attachment to the game.

Battlefield 2042 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. All the gameplay-related content in Season 1 such as maps, specialists, weapons, and vehicles will be available for free.
