Ever since Grand Theft Auto IV (2008), the new “thing” in this industry seems to be Microsoft and Sony wrangling over exclusivity over downloadable content. It was recently revealed that the latest addition to the compendium of Battlefield 3 DLC, Armored Kill, will be released for owners of the PlayStation 3 Premium Service first.

Battlefield 3: Armored Kill will be the fourth out five DLCs released for the highly-popular first-person shooter. One of the game’s biggest promotions has been their recently announced Battlefield 3 Premium service; with one of the perks being that DLC would arrive early. In this case, certain priority users are getting priority over the rest, it is priority within priority (“priorityception”).

Battlefield 3: Armored Kill will be released for the PlayStation 3 Premium service on September 4th, 2012; the Xbox 360 and PC versions will release a week later. Regular Battlefield 3 gamers will receive the DLC on the 18th for the PS3 and finally on the 25th for the Xbox 360 and PC.
