Ladies and Gentlemen, you can finally stop holding your breath and reloading the official Battlefield 3 blog every single day (though I'm sure you'll continue to do that), as the open beta has FINALLY been dated and it's very very close at hand. The beta will begin next Thursday, September 29th for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Console players will simply find the beta on their respective digital marketplaces under Battlefield 3 while PC players will have to install Origin and download the beta from within that.

Players who purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor will be able to get in 48 hours early on Tuesday September 27th, leaving the rest of us jealous for a few days. For more information check out the official Beta section of their site, and mark those calendars!
