Battlefield 4 is only a few weeks away from launching on current-gen consoles, but with the launch of the next-gen consoles on the horizon with Battlefield 4 prominently on the frontline, it looks like Xbox One will be making the first moves with some of the game’s post-launch DLC.

EA and DICE have confirmed that the first of Battlefield 4‘s DLC expansions, “Second Assault,” will be heading to Xbox One as a timed-exclusive to coincide with the console’s launch on November 22nd, with release on other platforms later on. While price details haven’t been released yet, “Second Assault” will be the first of Battlefield 4‘s expansions to be released, and will contain four classic maps from Battlefield 3 in Frostbite 3-engine glory, and will also feature some new twists added, such as the much publicized “Levolution” features of Battlefield 4.

Battlefield 4 releases for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on October 29th, 2013, and launches for PS4 on November 15th and Xbox One on November 22nd.
