Battlefield: Bad Company Television Series in Development

Recent reports have indicated that Fox has greenlit production on a new television series based off of Electronic Arts’ popular first-person shooter, Battlefield: Bad Company. Not much is known about the pilot or the series overall other than the fact that each episode will be an hour long and will star all of the main characters of the series.

The project is being collaborated on by John Eisendrath (Alias) with Sony Pictures Television and Happy Madison Productions. In addition to writing the pilot, Eisendrath will serve as executive producer (and presumably as show-runner) alongside Doug Robinson of Happy Madison Productions, and Patrick Bach and Patrick O’Brien of EA.

Battlefield: Bad Company was released for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC back in 2008. A sequel, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, followed in 2010.
