During the NVIDIA's RTX presentation ahead of Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, EA and DICE today announced the open beta dates for Battlefield V.

The open beta for Battlefield V will begin for everyone on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in about two weeks on September 6. However, if you're looking to gain access a bit earlier, then you can. DICE revealed that those who pre-order Battlefield V will be able to gain access to the beta in a closed phase that will begin on September 4. If you are subscribed to EA Access, Origin Access, or Origin Access Premier, you'll qualify to get into the beta early as well.

As for what you can expect to play during this open beta, DICE said there will be two maps available for play of Conquest, with one map called Rotterdam set in Holland City and the other titled Arctic Fjord taking place in Norway. Grand Operations will also be available for play on the Arctic Fjord map. Lastly, a five-part chapter of Tides of War will also be present in the open beta, with those who complete it being able to earn an exclusive dog tag to earn once Battlefield V launches.
