Today Microsoft held their E3 2018 Media Briefing and introduced us to more details about Battlefield V's upcoming War Stories. We saw the multiplayer trailer get premiered at the EA Play Live Press Conference 2018 as well as gameplay footage of the brand new Grand Operations mode.

The presentation today revealed a cinematic trailer —that you can view below— for a War Story character known as Nordlys and follows the journey of a young woman through WWII. The single-player War Stories will introduce various character stories to the title based on stories from WWII that are lesser known as EA have announced previously.

Other than the cinematic not much was detailed about other War Stories.

We also know about the confirmed Battle Royale mode that is due to be coming to the title, but more details will be revealed later in the year. If you missed the Microsoft Media Briefing and want to watch the recording you can. You can also see some EA sponsored videos that show of gameplay from the Grand Operations game mode.

Battlefield V will be launching this year on October 19th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It will also be available on Origin Access Premier, the new service that was announced yesterday.
