Need even more Battle Royale games in your life? Then you are in luck as Stunlock Studios have heard your plea with their standalone spin-off Battlerite Royale, which left early access and went free to play last November. Battlerite is a MOBA battle royale game played in a top-down viewpoint where triumph depends on elements like your skill, knowledge of the map, and just sheer luck.

Players propel themselves from the back of a rather large dragon onto an island called Talon, where they are faced with other players as you all make your way around the map. As with other battle royale type games, you will need to find items and consumables, and battle it out with other players to grab their loot, and ultimately be the last one standing on the island. The player will have several Champions to choose from, each with their own unique fighting style. So, the choice is yours.

If you have already bought Battlerite in Early Access or you happen to own the All Champions Pack, you’ll be granted some goodies, which include a 50% off time-limited coupon which is valid for 10 days, a limited legendary ember tiger mount, and use of all the cosmetics you’ve unlocked in Battlerite Arena.

In March, Battlerite announced a new champion by the name of Ulric the Paladin, whose primary role within the game is Support, giving teammates that all important defense boost and a helping hand in the healing process.

Battlerite Royale will be released on Steam Early Access in September for $19.99 and will launch with up to 20 playable Champions. If you have yet to sign up, you can enter now for the opportunity to try it out before it’s released, but don’t snooze on the opportunity.
