Battletech Kickstarter Campaign Ends at $2,865,422; Second Chance Backing Campaign Open

After a month-long wild ride, Harebrained Schemes’ Battletech concluded its Kickstarter campaign, rising $2,865,422 between Kickstarter itself and additional backing via PayPal.

With all the stretch goals unlocked, Harebrained also opened a second chance backing campaign, since there’s always someone that wakes up and discovers that he’d like to back a game only after the initial campaign ends.

Personally, as a long time Battletech nerd (and backer), I can’t wait to play this game, that has an estimated release window of May 2017.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
