Bayonetta 3 developer PlatinumGames will be including a mode in the upcoming game that cuts out characters becoming nude or wearing more revealing clothing.

In a reply tweet to their acknowledgement of the game’s announcement, the developer revealed the “Naive Angel Mode.” This tweet was accompanied by a video showing the difference between regular in-game footage and in-game footage with Naive Angel Mode enabled.

“Relax, the witch is back and sexier than ever. We’ve added the revolutionary ‘Naive Angel Mode’ to Bayonetta 3 so more people can fully enjoy it. By turning it on, you can play right in the living room without having to worry what’s on screen… we think.”

The accompanying video showcases what will happen if the titular character gets naked. Instead of stripping down, she will instead remain wearing her costume. It also shows a demon character wearing slightly more clothing than she would otherwise.

Fans of the series rejoiced recently as Bayonetta 3 finally received a release date, October 28. The game will see the witch “fight their way through the streets of Tokyo, the mountains of China, and various other locations in Bayonetta 3." The antagonists of Bayonetta 3 will be man-made bioweapons called Homunculi.

The third instalment will also feature “witch-in-training” Viola, who looks to play a prominent role in the plot of the game. Viola controls a giant demon cat called Cheshire, which is pretty cool.

For fans of the original game, there is a physical edition of Bayonetta releasing on September 30 for the Nintendo Switch.

As for those looking forward to the upcoming instalment, Bayonetta 3 will be released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on October 28. A "Trinity Masquerade Edition" which features an art book and custom game cases will also be available to purchase.
