Be Honest: Do You Like these Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011 Screens?

Yesterday I broke you guys the reveal trailer for the upcoming brawler Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011 and told you how uninspired the game looked. I would honestly believe that anyone who’s played the last few Dragon Ball Z games would agree with me, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. So, today we’ve a nice big batch of screens of the game in action and instead of just telling you that the game looks like crud, I’ll explain why I feel that way. So hit the break for the new screens and my opinion – if you dare.

Take this screen for example. It exemplifies why this game doesn’t look interesting. Look at the banal environments. How many times have we seen this arena in other DBZ games? How often have we seen the exact same fight between Goku and Vegeeta? I’d have to guess in EVERY other game.

Or just look at this one. Gee, I wonder what attack Goku is about to do. Wait, no I don’t, he’s about to do the Kamehameha. Now all we need is for everyone’s hair to change into gold spikes and we’ll have covered like 50% of all the other games.

I rest my case.
