Before Your Eyes Expected Release Time on Steam

Here's the expected release time for Before Your Eyes.

April 8 is going to be a good day for fans of interesting indie titles.

That date sees Spry Fox’s Cozy Grove launch across a variety of different platforms as well as Before Your Eyes, which is releasing solely on PC.

The two games look incredibly engaging, with Before Your Eyes trying something particularly fresh.

But what is the Before Your Eyes Release Time? Let’s take a look.

What is before your eyes and what does it do differently?

The game is described on the official Steam page as:

“The story begins after your death, aboard the ship of a mythical Ferryman tasked with shepherding souls to the afterlife. In order to help you pass on, he must first learn the story of your life. And so, he sends you back to relive your most important moments.”

Like many indie games, including both Cozy Grove and Spiritfarer, there is a large focus on “death”. However, Before You Eyes innovates on this with an interesting take on things. It comes with a warning on Steam that states: “Notice: For the full experience with blink interaction, be sure to use a webcam.”

The webcam is recommended because you can “control the flow of the narrative with your actual eyes.”

Effectively, the game tracks player’s blinks and helps to evolve the story around that.

What is the Before Your Eyes release time on Steam?

Unfortunately, like some games on Steam, Before Your Eyes doesn’t have a countdown timer.

However, based on the way games release on the platform, there are a couple of highly likely release windows.

The first is midnight PT/ 3 am ET/ 8 am UK, with the game releasing when the date has hit April 8 in the whole of the US.

The other and slightly more likely time is 8-10 am PT/11-1 am ET/4-6pm UK. This is the timeframe when the Steam store usually updates with new releases.

We’ll keep this post updated as soon as we get more information.
