A few days after publishing company Hakusensha announced the death of Berserk author Kentaro Miura, one of his assistants at Studio Gaga, via twitter, shared their thoughts regarding a continuation, alongside comments on Miura's healthy lifestyle to dispel certain rumors.

Several years ago, Kentaro Miura created his own manga studio where he trained his assistants, Studio Gaga. They also released manga together, including Gigantomakhia in 2013 and Douruanki in 2019.

Will Berserk get a continuation?

The chief assistant at Studio Gaga, @Drache_Doratan tweeted that as of now nothing is decided yet, and that they don't have the right to decide this by themselves. However, they did not directly dismiss the idea, so the only thing you can do is wait. The chief assistant also shared some details regarding Kentaro Miura's health and lifestyle. We translated the tweets below.

Berserk - Rumors on Kentaro Miura's health denied

Drache_Doratan: "Because of a certain comment from over 20 years ago and its outdated info, I've seen a lot of misunderstandings and people believing my teacher followed a bad lifestyle. I want to correct this to protect his honor. My teacher, for the last 15 years or so, followed a pretty decent diet, and also regularly exercised, (including muscle training). He was physically and mentally healthy and had no chronic illnesses."

Miura's assistant answers fans asking for a Berserk Continuation

Drache_Doratan: "I don't know what will happen now, and I'm not in a position to decide what we should do, so for now, I'll be taking a break from social media. Either way, assuming something concrete is decided, it will take a while for it to happen. Lastly, I want to thank all the fans for supporting Berserk and all of Miura sensei's works, and I hope you will keep supporting us."

Personally speaking, I'm just sad Miura passed away, and honestly don't really care whether Berserk continues or not. With Berserk, Miura already accomplished way enough in 30 years.

Plus, without going too much into spoilers, I wouldn't have minded if the manga ended a few chapters ago after a certain milestone event happened either. What do you think? You can always reach out to me through Twitter to talk about otaku stuff @A_iyane07.
