It seems like, to make up for keeping us waiting for so long to read the new chapters, Berserk creators have decided to treat us to a few surprises. Just recently, the announcement for the continuation of the Berserk manga broke the internet. And now we have news regarding the Berserk movie trilogy Memorial Edition release on TV.

Berserk is undoubtedly one of the greatest manga in the dark fantasy genre. The original writer of the series was Kentaro Miura, but now that he is no longer with us, Kouji Mori has stepped up to the plate. The previous Berserk: Golden Age Arc movies, for which we are now getting a Memorial Edition, came out between 2012 and 2013.

To announce the new release, a promotional video is out on AniTV's official YouTube channel. The re-edited work of the movie trilogy will be broadcast in 2022. We don't know the release date yet, but should hear more details soon. Anime Expo 2022 will be held from July 1st to July 4th, 2022, and it's likely that the creators will share more information at the event. This includes information regarding the staff and cast of the upcoming TV edition in addition to the release date.

Director Yatu Saro will be directing the new edition of the Golden Age Arc alongside studio 4°C, which was also the studio behind the original Berserk trilogy. The opening theme song is titled "Aria," composed by famous Japanese musician and composer Susumu Hirasawa.
