Chainsaw Man manga started running in 2018, and it's quite amusing to see how a relatively new series is more popular than most of the pre-existing mangas. The first part of Chainsaw Man manga ended in 2020, and fans were left patiently waiting for its return. Just recently, the series returned with its second part, and it's breaking the internet. But what the fans await most is the anime adaption of the series, which is scheduled for release sometime in 2022.
Mappa is animating the Chainsaw Man anime, known for some spectacular shows like Dororo, Attack on Titan: The Final Season, and Jujutsu Kaisen. So there's no doubt the upcoming anime is going to shatter all the records with its exceptional story and marvellous animation. But, at this point, there's no news regarding the show's arrival, except for the fact that it will drop in 2022. Some rumors suggest that the show will release on Netflix, but there's no confirmation yet. So, whilst you wait for the new series, here are the best anime series to watch if you like Chainsaw Man manga.

1. Blood+
Blood+ can easily make its place in the list of the best anime in horror and vampire genres. The show consists of a total of 50 episodes which ran from October 2005 to September 2006. The huge success of the show prompted the creators to create a sequel series, which aired in 2011 by the name Blood-C. Just like Denji fights evil devils in Chainsaw Man, Saya Otonashi fights shape-shifting vampires while exploring her past.
2. Dorohedoro
Ever heard of an anime where the main character is a monster? Well, that's where Chainsaw Man and Dorohedoro start to share a similarity. Full of action, violence, and dark fantasy, Dorohedoro is a 12-episode anime series with a completely unique storyline. Caiman has no memories of his past, and alongside his best friend, Nikaido, he is looking for the sorcerer responsible for his condition. To find the real culprit, Kaido has a unique way of putting their heads in his mouth and asking a simple question, "What did the man inside say?".
3. No Guns Life
Here's another great anime if you like Chainsaw Man manga. The chainsaw appearance of Denji looks frightening but amusing at the same time. Similarly, in No Guns Life, Juzo Inui's head is replaced by a massive gun. The show is set in the future where the humans have become cyborgs known as Extended. But, due to the recent war, many of the Extended have chosen the path of crime. Juzo, a well-known mercenary, takes care of all the troubles that the other Extended cause.
4. Tokyo Ghoul
Tokyo Ghoul is one of the most anticipated anime series in the supernatural thriller and dark fantasy genre. The show is well-known for its spectacular animation and violent content, so if you enjoy the gore scenes in Chainsaw Man manga, then you got to give Tokyo Ghoul a try. The show revolves around a boy named Ken Kaneki, who becomes half-human and half-ghoul after being attacked by a ghoul. Now, whose side will he take, a human-eating monster or humanity?
5. Elfen Lied
The brutality in this show might actually terrify you. Given that the show was released in 2004, it might be too much to handle at that time. Lucy might seem like an attractive cute girl, but she's actually a mutant serial killer, a product of scientific experimentation. After an accident, Lucy develops a split personality, and she meets two university students, Kouta and Yuka. They consider her a great friend, unaware of Lucy's bitter reality.
6. Parasyte: The Maxim
Where in Chainsaw Man, Denji makes a deal with the devil, in Parasyte, Shinichi is forced to live with an alien-like identity that attaches itself to a boy. If the shows with body horror don't disturb you, only then would we suggest you watch this great series. The human world is intervened by mysterious beings called Parasytes. Although they feed on humans, the one who mutates with Shinichi is different. Together, the two set on a mission to save humanity from the deadly monsters.
7. Jujutsu Kaisen
There are a lot of similarities the two anime share. Where in Chainsaw Man, the devils are born by human fears, the demons in Jujutsu Kaisen are born from negative human emotions. There, the Devil Hunters save Humanity from the deadly monsters, while in Jujutsu Kaisen, this responsibility is taken by Jujutsu Sorcerers. Even more interestingly, Mappa is the studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen's animation, the same studio animating the upcoming Chainsaw Man anime.
