10 Nisha - Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Nisha in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel plays like a true outlaw. Her ultimate ability allows her to increase her gun skills in every capacity. It also lets her lock on enemies automatically. Her whip is a little slow in terms of a melee attack but is unique to her. She can also cause her whip to deal shocking damage when she reaches the end of her Law and Order tree.

9 Zero - Borderlands 2
Zero is a ninja-type character in Borderlands 2. He is extraordinary with both long-range weapons and dealing melee damage. His ultimate allows him to turn invisible. The longer Zero is invisible the more damage he will do to an enemy.

A lot of his other abilities synergize well with it which allows him to quickly take out opponents. Salvador can be one of the strongest late-game characters on this list.
6 Krieg - Borderlands 2
Kreig is a playable Psycho that was added onto Borderlands 2 as DLC. He is the perfect fit for anyone who has ever wanted to do a fully viable melee build. A lot of his skills add to his survivability and allow him to be up close and personal with enemies. His action skill, and ultimate ability, allow him to go into a rampage that heavily increases melee damage.
On top of all of this if he upgrades his Mania tree full he will be able to turn himself into an even more powerful version of a psycho that deals added melee damage.

Maya is the Siren class in Borderlands 2. She uses her Phaselock ability that disrupts space and time to deal damage to her enemies. Maya is played by having her focused on large damage output while disrupting enemies in their tracks using her Phaselock. She also has the option to focus on healing.

4 FL4K - Borderlands 3
FL4K in Borderlands 3 is great for players who love playing companion-type characters and is probably the most companion-heavy type character in the game. Each of his skill trees has different pets that are associated with the specific tree.
Each pet also has 3 alternate add-ons that they can get throughout their tree. The add-ons make it so that FL4K’s pet gains different stat changes. The changes also sometimes alter their appearance.
3 Handsome Jack Doppelgangers - Borderlands: The Pre-Sequal
The Handsome Jack Doppelganger also known as Timothy Lawerance was a cleverly designed character in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequal. The character is a doppelganger that uses doppelgangers to aid him in battle.
He can create a lot of chaos in the game as he is able to summon up to two versions of himself. These two versions are able to take damage as well as dish out damage. This allows for players to target the same enemies the doppelgangers are taking on. In the late game having them die also adds powerful buffs to the player and they can be summoned in a higher frequency.
2 Gaige - Borderlands 2
Gaige was a character that was later added to Borderlands 2. She is the only character in Borderlands 2 that has a companion-like character with her. Her companion is a Death Trap that is summoned as her ultimate ability.
The great thing about Gaige is that even though she can make a really great build using the Death Trap she doesn’t have to. She can play around with her Ordered Chaos abilities and use skills to create large damage output without having to rely on her Death Trap. Upgrading the Death Trap is highly recommended though as it's entertaining to see it tear people apart.
1 Moze - Borderlands 3
Moze is a formidable character for those who really love doing big flashy damage. She serves as a tank with her giant mech suit, Iron Bear. This mech suit is special as it has the ability to provide a safe haven for Moze's shields to recharge. It also lays down heavy firepower on enemies.
Part of what makes Moze so interesting to play is that each skill tree has different weapons that can be used and unlocked for Iron Bear. She has a play style that is versatile but helpful when playing on her own or with a team. Late game she does a great job at dealing out big explosive damage.
