We’re now moving into the seventh stage of Season Seven’s Pokemon GO GO Battle League.

So far we’ve already had multiple Great and Ultra League rounds as well as a variety of different cups. Now, we’re back to the Ultra League, the league that is full of Legendary Pokemon.

One thing with Pokemon GO, is the release of new moves and Pokemon often causes the PVP meta to shift around.

Considering the recent changes, here are some of the best Master League teams we think could work in this edition of the GO Battle League.

  • Reshiram – Dragon Breath/Crunch/Overheat
  • Giratina (Altered) – Shadow Claw/Dragon Claw/Shadow Sneak
  • Gardevoir (Shadow XL) – Charm/Synchronoise/Shadow Ball

Best Master League Team Choices

Using the above information, here is a range of teams we think could help you to move up the rankings:

  • Mamoswine (XL)/Landorus (Therian XL)/Snorlax (Shadow)) – This team provides really strong coverage against many of the top picks in this league:
Mamoswine can help take down the pesky Dragon-types, Landorus will defeat the likes of Dialga and Groudon and Snorlax will help beat Pokemon like Giratina.
  • Snorlax (Shadow XL)/Dragonite (XL)/Garchomp (XL) – This team speaks for itself, the top three Pokemon on the list. A little exposed to Fairy/Ice but hits hard.
  • Gyarados (XL)/Mewtwo/Mamoswine (XL) – Gyarados surprisingly picks up some really solid wins in Master League, Mewtwo is, well, Mewtwo and Mamoswine will again help to sweep up the Dragons.
  • Togekiss (XL)/Giratina (Origin)/Metagross (XL)
  • Togekiss (XL)/Dragonite (Shadow XL)/Swampert (Shadow XL)

Top 25 Pokemon – Master League Classic

Here are the top 25 Pokemon once XL Candies have been excluded:

  • Groudon – Mud Shot/Fire Punch/Earthquake
  • Melmetal – Thunder Shock/Superpower/Rock Slide
  • Snorlax (Shadow) – Lick/Body Slam/Superpower
  • Giratina (Origin) – Shadow Claw/Shadow Ball/Ominous Wind
  • Dialga – Dragon Breath/Iron Head/Draco Meteor

  • Metagross – Bullet Punch/Meteor Mash/Earthquake
  • Kyogre – Waterfall/Blizzard/Surf
  • Togekiss – Charm/Ancient Power/Flamethrower
  • Rhyperior – Mud Slap/Rock Wrecker/Surf
  • Regirock – Lock On/Stone Edge/Focus Blast

Best Master League Classic Team Choices

  • Groudon/Melmetal/Snorlax
  • Dragonite/Mewtwo/Zapdos
  • Dialga/Togekiss/Landorus (Incarnate)
  • Swampert/Mamoswine/Groudon
  • Ho-Oh/Giratina (Origin)/Garchomp

By no means do any of these teams guarantee you wins, however, they’ve crafted them in a way that gives decent type coverage, limits weakness and counters the Pokemon we think will be popular.

When building your team, theoretically, any of the top 25+ will work, provided you think about it strategically.

Good luck finding your best Master League and Master League Classic team!
