Halo might have made you quite fascinated by science fiction, aliens, and space-related TV series, so these are the best shows to watch after Halo.

Season one of the Halo TV series was equally good as the videogames of the franchise. It’s a true example of what a game-inspired TV series should look like. From action to soundtracks, CGI, story, and acting, the show nailed it in every aspect. Even the people who don’t find alien, space, and science fiction stuff their cup of tea will appreciate the show for its greatness.

Unfortunately, Halo days are finally over as season one of the series ended with its 9th episode on May 19th, 2022. But thankfully, the second season of the series is already announced. Obviously, you can’t expect this series to serve you a great animation and CGI, but a classy story is what it has. The plot of the story will take you to the 23rd century, where Captain James T. Kirk and the USS members are working to defend the United Federation of Planets.

Full of action, drama, sci-fi, and drama, Raised by Wolves is surely a series worth making its name to this list. The series was created by Aaron Guzikowski and directed by Ridley Scott. Ridley is already known for his other great science fiction works like Alien, Blade Runner, The Martian, and many more. Till now, there are a total of 2 seasons of the series with 18 episodes in total. So, it’s a perfect show to binge-watch in a day or two. After the Earth is destroyed in a war, two androids are tasked with raising human children on Kepler-22b.

3. The X-Files

With a staggering rating of 8.6 on IMDB, The X-Files is an alien show you should not miss watching. Especially if your heart desires more and more sci-fi, honor, drama, thriller, supernatural, mystery, and detective stuff, then The X-Files is a whole package. It’s hard to explain the story of the show in a few words, but let’s just say that two FBI agents, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, work together and investigate the strange and unexplainable activities. But some supernatural forces are stopping them from doing their job.

4. Agents of SHIELD

By none other than Marvel, Agents of SHIELD is a 7 season series with 136 episodes in total. So it’s definitely an undertaking, but it’s totally worth your time. Agents of SHIELD star Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Min-Na-Wen as Melinda, and Brett Dalton as Grant Ward. The law enforcement agency known as SHIELD is an elite team of fighters that fight all sorts of troubles, including aliens known as Kree and a terrorist group named Hydra.

5. The Expanse

Another great science-fiction and drama TV series to watch after Halo, packed with aliens and their technology is The Expanse. The show is based on a novel by James S. A. Corey by the same name. It seems like the fans with a keen interest in alien shows enjoyed The Expanse, as it has a rating of 8.5 on IMDB. The story will take you hundreds of years in the future, where the three greatest powers are the United Nations of Earth and Luna, the Martian Congressional Republic, and The Outer Planets Alliance. The tension among the groups rises due to certain reasons which bring them to the brink of war.
