The month of August gave us shows like Sandman, She-Hulk, and I Am Groot. As for those into animation, Dota: Dragon's Blood and Tekken: Bloodline were a few of the big releases. Lastly, House of the Dragon also managed to drop in August, so it was a blasting month overall. Interestingly, a few of these series will continue to drop their weekly episodes this month as well.

10/10 Devil in Ohio
Let's commence the list with an upcoming suspense thriller series based on a book by the same name written by Daria Polatin. The TV series was greenlit back in September 2021, and almost one year after the announcement, it's about time for us to enjoy the show. Devil in Ohio will consist of eight episodes, each with a runtime of around 45 minutes.
Devil in Ohio features the story of a young girl named Mae (played by Madeleine Arthur), who escapes a mysterious cult, and a psychiatrist (Emily Deschanel) gives her shelter. But, the girl's arrival put the psychiatrist's own family in danger.

9/10 The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
The legendary The Lord of the Rings franchise is also bringing its brand new TV series in September. So, be prepared to witness a lot of bloodbaths, adventure, and drama. The series is already confirmed for another season, with its filming expected to begin in October 2022.
The first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power aired in Los Angeles as a part of an event. As expected, the show received positive reviews from critics with a high score in plot, cinematography, visuals, and music score.

8/10 Rick and Morty
This month is going to be a festive season for fans who love to watch animated shows. Rick and Morty are coming back with more bizarre adventures. The sixth season will consist of ten episodes in total, with each episode dropping weekly.
The series consists of standalone episodes that take us to the adventures of a genius scientist named Rick, and his not-so-intelligent grandson, Morty. The sixth season is a part of a deal made in 2018 which ordered 70 new episodes. So, while you enjoy the new season, more episodes of the TV show are already in the making.

7/10 Cobra-Kai
Martial arts movies and shows with a pinch of comedy never fail to entertain us, and Cobra Kai tops that category. This will be the fifth season of the series and will run for ten episodes, just like all the previous parts. The unique writing style, performance of the actors, and unmatching action scenes have got the show a high viewership from the start.
More than thirty years have passed since the All Valley Karate Tournament was held. Johnny Lawrence, one of the participants of the tournament, is presently living a wasted life. But, after rescuing a kid from the bullies, he gets inspired to start the Cobra Kai dojo, and once again, Lawrence's rivalry with Daniel LaRussu starts.

6/10 The Handmaid's Tale
Not everyone is into the shows set in the dystopian world, so we rarely get great series in this genre. But, if you have a liking for such shows, then you should be looking forward to The Handmaid's Tale. The upcoming series is inspired by a 1985 novel by Margaret Atwood.
The Handmaid's Tale is the story of a woman named June (played by Elisabeth Moss), who lives in a place called Gilead. The place is ruled by the type of people who consider women as second-class citizens and punish those who try to escape. June makes an attempt to escape but gets caught and is forced to bear children for officials who can't have their own.

5/10 Vampire Academy
It seems like September is full of TV series based on novels, as here's another one based on a novel series by Richelle Mead. Earlier, we got a movie by the same name in 2014, so the upcoming television series will serve as a reboot. The first four episodes of Vampire Academy will air on the same day. Then, the series will follow a weekly release schedule for the remaining six episodes.
The show is set in a boarding school named St. Vladimir's Academy, where the vampires are educated and trained. Rosemarie Hathaway (played by Sisi Stringer) and her best friend, Lissa (played by Daniela Nieves), managed to escape, but now they are dragged back to the academy.
