1. Thor: Love and Thunder

Not just the most hyped Disney movie, but Thor: Love and Thunder is the most awaited film of the year. The movie is directed by Taika Waititi, also the director of Thor: Ragnarok. Taika is also in the cast of the Lightyear as the voice of Mo Morrison. Love and Thunder will take you to the new adventures of Thor after the incidents of Avengers: Endgame. While Thor is trying to find his inner peace, Gorr the God Butcher comes to eliminate all the gods, forcing him to come to action.

2. Peter Pan and Wendy

The famous fictional character, Peter Pan, created by J. M Barrie, is returning in a new fantasy film directed by David Lowery. The movie is based on the original story of the character. Alongside Alexander Molony as Peter Pan, Ever Anderson will be cast as Wendy Darling, Joshua Pickering as John Darling, and Yara Shahidi as Tinker Bell. The upcoming live-action movie will take you to the adventure of Peter Pan alongside three young siblings who go on an adventure to the Neverland Island.

3. Pinocchio

Peter Pan is not the only famous fictional character getting a live-action movie this year; Pinocchio, created by Carlo Collodi, is also returning with a new movie. The upcoming Disney movie will star Tom Hanks as Geppetto, Cynthia Erivo as The Blue Fairy, and Luke Evans as The Coachman. As the movie is a live-action adaptation of the 1940 film based on the novel, The Adventures of Pinocchio, it will follow the same storyline. A wooden puppet will come to life and live the great adventures.

4. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

After the death of Chadwick Boseman, a.k.a Black Panther, the studio decided not to recast anyone for the role of T’Challa. But other members of the cast will return, including Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Dania Gurira as Okoye, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi.

5. Strange World

If you’re into sports-drama-related films, then a new one from Disney is coming in just a few days. What makes Rise an even better film is that it’s based on a true story. The basketball-related movie is about three Nigerian brothers who migrate to the US with their family for a better life. But their hardship still seems to continue until they find their natural talent in Basketball. With the help of an agent, they try to pursue their career in the NBA. Uche Agada will play the role of Giannis Antetokounmpo with Ral Agada as Thanasis, and Jaden Osimuwa as Kostas.
